War Monger

It takes one war monger amongst us,
To fall years of diplomacy,
With his domino effects.
Turning the world against us…
Hatred and fear seething in their eyes.

The damage is done,
The fire ignited…
Worlds of peace are crowded now-
Streets filled with smoke and tears.
Red are the stains our children bear-
For it takes one war monger …
To fall a civilization.

Such a shame, that his people are so easily dissuaded-
To any notion of power, persuaded-
They live in ignorance or in defeat-
Not knowing the direction they aim the war heads.
After all- it takes only one war monger-
To start a battle with a single unseen shot.

Such a shame that no one saw it-
The flame following the trail of oil…
The agendas still hidden under warning tickers…
Varied resources depleting in the turmoil.
Just a blind faith,
labeled with religion and patriotism.
It will take just one war monger…
To bring them crumbling down.

Moods that take me

There are so many moods that take me and erase me...sending me to the void...
But then in my semi-conscious mind I realize that I have a choice...and I steer the sinking boat back towards my destination.
THAT is when I feel the most accomplished.

Bushisms

Yes, we laugh at bushisms everyday... and make fun of it all the time.
But recently i was surprised to learn that Wikpedia actually defines 'Bushisms'... its rather interesting:P
And there are categories too! And ofcourse there is the reference to the 'Make the Pie Higher' poem...which is an absolute must read if you want to crack urself up!

House

I am addicted to the series House M.D.
Just a point i had to make.

Roomies again

New place...now comes with a roommate.
Should be interesting.
Giving my back and limbs a break now form hauling all my stuff over... Somehow third floor didnt seem to sound like a problem when i signed the lease....ofcourse now i beg to differ.
And ofcourse... i still have to the nasty part of cleaning the old apt. This is what i hate.

Well atleast i updated my blog.

I am quite satisfied with the year so far... Saw Dave Matthews Band live... saw Lynyrd Skynyrd, three doors down... and black crowes. Upcoming include Steely Dan, Poison, Cinderella and Clapton. Yay.
Musically my soul is quite satisfied.
Charlotte has been nice to me.

My laptop finally died on me... circuits fried....

My new baby is a toshiba satellite... I call it Diem. Hopefully i will use it with more care.
That still doesnt mean i will update this blog daily...

The 'DEVIL-OPER'

People at work have started calling me the 'devil-upper' or 'devil-oper'...however you want to write it. I'm not sure what I do to get such a reputation. But since I can't do anything abt it, I am instead going to work on my evil laugh and the 'Grinch smile'.
Any other tips?
